The metal dome is also known as metal shrapnel, metal dome, or snap dome. Compared with traditional silicone buttons, the conductive film has a better feel and longer life. The metal shrapnel on the pot chip button is located in the PCB board's conductive part (mostly above the gold finger on the circuit board).
